Swype is very convenient at times... Although it sometimes messed up the word. For me texting is quicker, but Swype can be fun at times. I really like the app... It can just be annoying at times. Thank you for reading this and goodbye

I love Swype, its the only reason I purchased an iPhone. There are a few quirks that could be addressed though. When typing numbers in Google search bar, the keyboard switches back to letter after each number. Its very frustrating. It does something similar when typing on a numbers only entry field. I find myself switching keyboards because of this. It would also be nice to have a feature to move the cursor as the iPhone stock keyboard has. Another option is the ability to select numbers instead of the suggestion field, or adding numbers to the keyboard, so you dont have to switch back and forth while entering data with numbers and letters. Again, love this app. Would love to see some added function though.

I had a Samsung phone before my new iPhone and it had this feature which I loved. When I bought my new iPhone 6 Plus this technique was not recognized UNTIL I made a trip to the Apple Store and was shown how to add it to my phone. I am soooo happy to have the Swype App. I am not good with my thumbs in texting so this is perfect for me :))

Swype keeps getting worse. It cannot recluse what i type anymore. Also, I like double space. The fact that i cant in Swype is annoying.

Why does this keyboard not use the font set in OneNote? Get it together.

Every thing about this app is confusing and cluttered. Make they keyboard button send me to the next keyboard. Not the emojis.

This was a previous review that I had written: It continually prevents my keyboard from opening--even in simple operations like text messaging. I have to change to the old keyboard just to access the emojis. Big pain. SINCE then, its gotten worse. It freezes, causes my to close apps to restart typing after reviving keyboard. Just got my iPhone replace because it was acting "possessed" by randomly hitting items all over the screen. This phone was scrubbing find until I downloaded the Swype keyboard. Very disappointing.

There is no set as default setting and the iPhone reverts to the original keyboard in every new text message. Its annoying to have to change it back every time.

Have used ALL of the oldest and newest swipe keyboards. SWYPE is still the most accurate on the market. Thanks!

This "Living Language" idea isnt working out for me very well, nor is Swype itself. I try to type "near" and Swype enters "naked." It tries to insert other racy or sexual words, too--and these DO NOT come from my past word choices, either spoken or entered as text. It is as if Swype is trying to embarrass me or get me in trouble. Also, it seems that the longer Swype is on my phone, the smaller the effective area of each letter on the keyboard. Swype thus becomes progressively more difficult to use rather than easier. Ive now tried two alternatives to Swpye. What a relief they are, and how disappointing Swype! This is the worst app Ive ever tried.

Why does Swype remember everything but my email address. This is a real flaw! The accuracy of my swipes is fantastic. There are several flaws. A misspelled word is completely erased by one backspace. This is bad. Spelling predictions when not swiping are not excellent, theyre horrible. Puzzled once our so daily with very odd substitutions. You should offer an option to never substitute a specific word.

The features are good. One issue I see is when typing address in Safari or Firefox browsers doesnt allow me to type anything if match is found have to use the Swype method for a different name and then erase it by back button would be good if can be fixed

The best keyboard to pick up our swiping. Makes very less mistakes. Easily understand even the long words.

Starting with previous version, often changes the last word when I add punctuation. Months later and an update and its STILL not fixed. Dropping another star.

Spontaneously changes words when I tap on ! or ?

Ive tried almost every third party keyboard in the store and found this one to be the most accurate.

I loved Swype and it worked great, but now all I seem to type is utter nonsense. By the time my message is ready I should have just used the normal keyboard and saved myself some time. Ive had to correct this review 3 times already. Ive become unintelligible. Is this an app or iPhone issue?

The amount is mistakes this keyboard makes is ridiculous. No accuracy whats so ever when it comes to Swyping. Save yourself the dollar and use Google Gboard instead.

I came from using a windows phone and always preferred the keyboard on those compared to my iPhone. There are just a couple things that get me about this version of the keyboard on the iPhone. I find myself pressing "b" often after words instead of the space bar, as well as hitting "." instead of space as well, which throws the word correction or suggestions through a loop. If this could be addressed, then it might be a game changer of a keyboard.

This app used to do really well for me. The swipe function was intuitive and quick, although the emojis were limited. But now! Very frustrating. I just got a new iPhone, updated this app, but am only more frustrated every day! It wont type simple words like "we" just adds a "w" and adds "yoo" instead of "you". Repeatedly, it makes these mistakes. How intuitive is that?! Plus it often puts in abstract words in its auto-correct. But the worst is how often it crashes! Once or twice a day now for more! Getting very frustrating. It just freezes on the number keyboard and wont type anything. My daughter-in-law says hers does the same thing. Please come out with a version that does better than this one! Its getting ridiculous and impractical to use Swype!
