Why take a great app and make changes that make it much worse? This is whats happened with Swype. Not only does it often not work at all, requiring users to turn it off and back on and allow it over and over, but it now changes correct words after you hit the space bar into the wrong word! This happens to me all the time now, making such errors hard to see, because eyes stop looking at the word once they see its correct. Im going to have to delete it because it actually makes it harder to type in my iPhone and iPad now!

Ever since Apple updated to 9.3.1 this keyboard went down the drain. I understand Apple isnt playing nice with third party keyboards just yet but wow.

After much struggle, I had to go with a competitor. Swype never updated and fixed its long standing issues. So sad.

Often the keyboard will only pop up half way. Very irritating. I dont know why Apple didnt provide their own except they have a very "not invented here attitude"

I love the appcut I miss my voice to text also.

The prediction and auto correct has become horrible. The swiping gestures assume I pick up my finger too much. Word flow is much better.

My old phone had swype preinstalled, so when I got an iPhone I needed to get the app. It has worked really well. My biggest pet peeve is that is always corrected was to wad, and so or do to Syu. It is the most annoying thing, and I have removed those words from the dictionary countless times. That I could live with. Recently the keyboard has stopped responding to anything. I cannot click and buttons. I have to remove it from my keyboards and use the standard Apple keyboard. I believe this may be because of the newest apple update and not the swype app.

I like the app. The only thing thats missing is my mic for speech to text. My voice message mic is there though. Overall I think its a good app

I love the Swype keyboard. It is very accurate and fun to use, but I would really like a better emoji option. After getting used to the Apple keyboard, it is difficult to get to the emojis on the Swype keyboard. I would like a quick click button for emojis.

Probably the best app on my phone. Use it all day, every day. I would give it 5 stars but the emojis need updated to match Apples current emojis. I do recommend this app to everyone!

Since the most recent updates, although its still one of the better third party keyboard options for iOS, Swype has been next to unusable for me.

Im a longtime user, but Ive been frustrated lately. Swype keeps changing words Ive typed after Ive already typed the subsequent word. Im constantly going back to fix words that were correct when I originally entered them. Also, Swype needs to Switch keyboard selection and number keyboard placement so they match other keyboards.

I love the swype input method but the fact that nonsensical and obscure words, even odd foreign looking names or sets of numbers, often pop up instead of the very common weird that was intended is extremely frustrating. Why not remove that crap from the dictionary!? Or at least give me the option of a set of dictionaries, one being completely comprehensive like the default one used currently and another being common modern American English...

I generally like this app, but the latest version forces autocorrect when the original word isnt even misspelled! It just decides that It knows better than you do as to which word you want to use. It doesnt even let you go back to the original word by using the backspace key. It makes you choose the word you really want from the word choices above the keyboard. Kind of frustrating.
