Great app, but has problems

My old phone had swype preinstalled, so when I got an iPhone I needed to get the app. It has worked really well. My biggest pet peeve is that is always corrected was to wad, and so or do to Syu. It is the most annoying thing, and I have removed those words from the dictionary countless times. That I could live with. Recently the keyboard has stopped responding to anything. I cannot click and buttons. I have to remove it from my keyboards and use the standard Apple keyboard. I believe this may be because of the newest apple update and not the swype app.
