Love the look, hate the performance

Ive been an every day user of Swype for nearly a year now, and I loved the idea right away. Theres nothing I hate more than using the standard keyboard on my iPhone.

Swype looks great, its word detection is really good, and the swiping animation is smooth and not distracting.

The biggest issue Ive had is its performance, which is of utmost importance. When I open my text messages or search bar in Safari, I often get no keyboard popping up at all. I then have to close the app and reopen it to get Swype to work again.

My latest experience was having my keyboard completely locked, with no recourse other than deleting Swype altogether. Im not sure if Ill be downloading it again.

If it worked 99.9% of the time with a few hiccups, itd be a 5 star app. When it is working, it vastly outperforms SwiftKey. For now though, Ill take a reliable keyboard over a Swype keyboard that has had the same issues for a year without any fix.
